Jane Eyre has been a favourite since it was originally published in 1847. It sits in the publisher, Wordsworth Editions' Heritage Collection, has a sewn binding and is quarter bound in linen cloth with an elegant linen-grained paper cover design.

The cover designs for these books are based on botanical prints by William Morris and William Kilburn.
