A much-loved book, Anne of Green Gables has been considered a classic children's novel since it was published in 1908. It sits in the publisher, Wordsworth Editions' Heritage Collection, has a sewn binding and is quarter bound in linen cloth with an elegant linen-grained paper cover design.

The cover design for this book is based on 'Lily and Pomegranate' by William Morris.
