This is an exquisite tea storage tin by William Morris. It features his world-renowned Strawberry Thief design, which was registered in 1883.
The lid is easily removed with a gentle twist and just as easily placed back on the tea storage tin. The luxury tin has gentle contours in the enamelled metal and is comfortable to lift and hold.
Inspired by thrush birds stealing strawberries in the garden of William Morris' home 'Kelmscott Manor,' the Strawberry Thief design is much-loved and sought after.

MEASUREMENTS:

EXTERIOR:
* Top and sides: enamelled with a rich red background and a delicate detailed design, with subtle gold embellishments.
* Bottom: The base of the tin has a brass-style finish with an Arts&Crafts logo in the centre.
INTERIOR:
A warm shiny brass-style finish on the inside and base of the tin.

Clean this William Morris tin and lid with a damp clean cloth and dry it completely. Don't place it in the dishwasher, oven or microwave. Also check it's totally dry before placing any tea or coffee inside the tin.
